OAK GROVE TECHNOLOGIES HOSTS UFC FIGHTERS JOSH KOSCHECK AND JON FITCH AT PENNSYLVANIA EVENT

Shamokin, PA – Oak Grove Technologies hosted UFC® Fighters, Jon Fitch and Josh Koscheck, at a speaking event and autograph session for the students of Shamokin Area Middle/High School in Shamokin, Pennsylvania. Also, the fighters and their Manager, Bob Cook, participated in a ceremony at the Coal Township Board of Commissioners meeting designating them “honorary police officers”.

Cook, Koscheck and Fitch in cohorts with Coal Township commissioners and Coal Township police had an important message to share regarding the importance of eradicating drugs through education.

Mark Gross, President of Oak Grove and a former Shamokin native, said of the event, “We had a tremendous turnout! The fighters provide such a strong message to their younger fans. I think it is so important for students to hear, not only from parents, adults and teachers, but from other role models they look up to, the importance of a dedicated, healthy lifestyle and what you can make of yourself through hard work and determination. Oak Grove is extremely pleased with the relationships we have grown with the UFC and other Mixed Martial Arts fighters and to have the opportunity to hold events such as this that really make a difference.”
