OAK GROVE SUPPORTS AFGHAN-AMERICAN ECONOMIC RELATIONS

Washington D.C. – Oak Grove CEO, Mark Gross, and Vice President of Business Development, Frank Beaty, attended the US-Afghanistan Business Matchmaking Conference on Nov. 7-9, 2010.

The conference provided American-based businesses the chance to network with Afghan-based companies and obtain information about business opportunities in Afghanistan.

Oak Grove proudly sponsors the Afghan–American Chamber of Commerce’s (A-ACC) mission to strengthen the economic relations between the U.S. and Afghanistan.

In late November, Oak Grove executives are scheduled to travel to Afghanistan to register Oak Grove technologies as vendor with the Afghanistan government. The team will also visit potential customers and team mates as well as current job sites.

As a result of recent awards, Oak Grove has begun working in Afghanistan. Currently, Oak Grove is teamed with Wise Global, and Afghan owned company, to provide Information Technology infrastructure and improvements to the Afghanistan Ministry of Defense. Oak Grove will be providing Intelligence Analysts to support the US Army and US Marine ground forces in Afghanistan.
