OAK GROVE TECHNOLOGIES SPONSORS FORREST GRIFFIN AND JOSH KOSCHECK IN UFC 86 IN LAS VEGAS

Oak Grove Technologies recently sponsored UFC fighters Forrest Griffin and Josh Koscheck in their July 5, 2008 fights (UFC 86) at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

After battling the full five rounds, Forrest Griffin defeated Quinton “Rampage” Jackson for the Light Heavyweight Title. Josh Koscheck also defeated his opponent, Chris Lytle, by unanimous decision.

Several employees were onsite at the fight to represent Oak Grove. “It has been an exciting year for us with our involvement with the UFC,” said Frank Beaty, Oak Grove’s Senior Vice President of Business Development. “These guys train and work so hard…just like our military forces; it has been truly rewarding as a company to be a part of establishing a relationship between them and the men and women fighting for our country. The fighters have accompanied Oak Grove to various military events to interact with soldiers and invariably all parties come away saying they have gotten a lot out of these experiences. I look forward to many more opportunities to come.”

UFC Fighter Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell also took time out of his busy schedule to do a book signing of his autobiography at Oak Grove’s booth at the 4th Annual National Veteran’s Conference that took place in the days following UFC 86.
