U.S. DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS AWARDS OAK GROVE TECHNOLOGIES 4 E-LEARNING PROJECTS

Washington, DC – Oak Grove Technologies was recently awarded four new e-Learning projects by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Each project is centered around the topic of Compensation and Pension (CPEP) Examinations. Oak Grove’s team of instructional designers and graphic artists will design and develop scenario-based online courses with a video component. The scenario-based approach will provide clinicians with demonstrations of optimal CPEP exams for various conditions including traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Oak Grove has developed several other web-based courses for VA. Recently, we designed the web-base course, Clinician-Patient Communication. This purpose of this course is to teach clinicians effective communication methods when dealing with patients and families of patients diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, TBI, and polytrauma. Oak Grove has also developed courses in subject areas such as suicide risk prevention, workforce succession planning, and management supervision training. We perform this work under the VA ADDIE contract vehicle. VA Analysis Design Development Implementation Evaluation (ADDIE) is an IDIQ that provides the Employee Education System (EES) with educational and electronic multimedia products. Oak Grove is one of only four prime contractors chosen to be on this vehicle.
