A former Army Soldier, founder and CEO, Mark Gross, started Oak Grove Technologies in 2003 with an idea to “create a bridge, between then and now,” and to help veterans like himself with the desire to continue serving our country.
Oak Grove Technologies is a well-known participant in programs that benefit the men and women in our armed forces. We sponsor numerous organizations and special events in support of both soldiers and veterans. We also actively employ veterans and offer them the opportunity to cross the bridge and apply their unique military experience to the corporate world. Our diverse team of veteran and civilian employees make Mark’s goal a reality. Oak Grove Technologies continues serving the nation through our contracts with the federal government.
MANAGEMENT TEAM
MARK GROSS – FOUNDER & CEO
Since 2003, Oak Grove founder and CEO, Mark Gross, has grown a successful business practice serving both the federal and commercial sectors. He has guided the company to numerous achievements including the 2007 DoD Inaugural SDVOSB Achievement award. In addition, Mark’s leadership led Oak Grove to be named the 2008 Mid-sized Company of the Year by the North Carolina Technology Association. Before founding Oak Grove, Mark was a U.S. Army enlisted soldier. He continued his public service under the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) Honors Program, Antitrust Division. There, Mark improved relations between regulatory agencies, and was presented the Assistant Attorney General (AG) (Ann Bingaman) Award in 1993 and 1994 and the AG (Janet Reno) Award in 1995.
Mark is a passionate supporter of Veterans, as well as Entrepreneurs, having mentored over 15 successful companies over the years. He served as legal editor of Veterans Benefits Manual – An Advocates Guide to Veterans Benefits and is active within the NDIA and AFCEA. He is a founding member of the American Legion, National Economic Committees Small Business Task Force. Mark was also appointed to serve on the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Veterans Advisory Committee, advising both the White House and the Congress on issues affecting veteran businesses. He attended the University of Maryland, Hanua Germany as well as The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
Mark is active in multiple charities to include the Special Forces Association, where he is an honorary Life Member; The FBI Citizens Academy, where he is a 2015 graduate; YMCA, where he serves on the board of directors; the MARSOC Foundation; US Veterans Corps; Edinboro University Wrestling; Wolfpack Wrestling Club; Washington Irish RFC; American Legion; Green Beret Foundation; Oasis Group; Task Force Dagger Foundation; Harriman-Miller (Stan the Man Golf Tournament) as well as surrounding local law enforcement.
CONTRACT VEHICLES
Oak Grove Technologies offers a wide array of contract vehicles that make it easy for you to do business with us. These contract vehicles feature pre-negotiated terms and conditions to support programs across government agencies. In addition to our GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Schedule, Oak Grove is a prime or subcontractor on numerous indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) vehicles and blanket purchase agreements (BPA).
